This collection marks a milestone for The Bountiful Bag—our first collaboration with a professional sports organization. Together with NBA Summer League, we've transformed retired tournament banners into limited-edition collector's bags that give iconic event materials a second life.
Our hope is that this collection becomes the beginning of a new model for the sports industry—one where retired event materials are celebrated rather than discarded, preserving memories while reducing waste.
ABOUT THIS COLLECTION
This exclusive collection is limited to just 50 duffel bags, each individually numbered (#1–50) to make it a true collector's piece and documented part of this inaugural release.
Of the 50 bags:
34 feature official NBA team logos, including 5 special-edition New York Knicks bags created to celebrate their recent championship victory.
The remaining 16 bags showcase bold graphics and artwork from retired NBA Summer League banners.
Each bag was carefully designed by Fiorella Borkert, The Bountiful Bag's creative designer, whose thoughtful approach transformed retired event banners into striking, functional pieces while honoring the original graphics. Every bag is handcrafted in California using fabric banners from previous NBA Summer League tournaments. Because every banner offered different colors, layouts, and artwork, no two bags are exactly alike.
Measuring approximately 20" × 16", these versatile duffels are perfect for the gym, weekend getaways, and everyday travel.
THE JOURNEY
Before becoming a Bountiful Bag, these banners welcomed fans, celebrated teams, and helped bring NBA Summer League to life throughout the event. Once the tournament ended, instead of being discarded, they were carefully cleaned, analyzed, cut, and transformed into products designed to continue their story for years to come.
