BEING BOUNTIFUL IS A COMMUNITY EFFORT

At The Bountiful Bag, we recognize that upcycling materials destined for the landfill is a collective effort. The companies and organizations we work with go the extra mile by setting aside used materials and coordinating pickups or shipments with us. To pay it forward, we donate a portion of each sale to social and environmental causes that matter to both us and our collaborators.

ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT

Classic Malt Bag Collections & Misc. Collections benefit San Diego Brewcycling Collaborative - a nonprofit that was started in 2021 by a group of concerned citizens (including our founders) looking to implement new recycling systems for waste produced in the brewing industry that is not addressed curbside, such as malt bags, shrink wrap, Paktechs and PET green strapping.

The organization’s mission is to provide the San Diego Craft Beverage Industry with recycling solutions and partnerships to responsibly sort, separate, and recycle brewery waste streams, as well as engage local community members in craft beverage sustainability.

Furniture & Home Decor Collections benefit Sustainability is Sexy - a nonprofit organization that inspires and drives innovation within the San Diego community through connection. They provide tangible education at events and webinars about solutions to the global climate crisis and offer waste sorting services to make events less wasteful.

Pink Boots Malt Collections benefits Pink Boots Society - a nonprofit organization that assists, inspires and encourages women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education. 

Pride Collection benefits San Diego Pride - a nonprofit organization that raises funds primarily through festival ticket and beverage sales, and through sponsorships, and exhibitor fees. These funds support San Diego Pride’s community philanthropy which has distributed more than $2.5 million in advancement of its mission to foster pride, equality, and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities locally, nationally, and globally.

Vans Warped Tour Collections benefit Unite The United - an organization that encourages fans, artists and industry leaders from the music, touring and action sports worlds to work toward positive change, by supporting local charities, producing events, and participating in community volunteerism events across the United States.
