BLACK IS BOUNTIFUL is a special collection of Bountiful Bags made in support of Black Lives Matter. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Embrace Race. We chose this organization because we believe that education is the key element to any real progress and change for a better future. Their mission is to raise a generation of children who are thoughtful, informed and brave about race.

The collection will feature colors inspired by the Black is Beautiful beer design label, as well as pops of yellow from the Black Lives Matter campaign.

♻️ For this collection, we are upcycling the following rescued materials:

• Black heavy duty plastic woven super-sack: this is the packaging of coconut shell charcoal used by Misadventure & Co. in their production of hand sanitizer.

• Black heavy duty velvet: left over material from a local drapery production company.

• Black and white vinyl: from disposed banners after a surf competition in Huntington Beach.

• Silver material: from Yakima Chief Hop bags, donated to us by El Segundo Brewing after brewing their Broken Skull IPA.

• Yellow and Rust brown vinyl: from disposed Karl Strauss’ Collabapallooza 2019 vinyl banners.

• Black and Yellow Mesh: from a disposed Vans Warped Tour promo banner.

• The lining is end-rolls of fabric that otherwise would have ended in a landfill.
